A Bachelor of Science degree is offered for the seven programs under the auspices of Bible and Education. The seven programs are: Core Subjects EC-6, Social Studies 4-8; English, Language Arts, and Reading 4-8, Social Studies 7-12, and English, Language Arts, Reading 7-12, and Music Education. They are designed to prepare students for classroom teaching and for obtaining state certification and/or further professional development.
There is a $125 fee for all education majors. The fee covers the technology fee assessed by TEA when the student is entered into the ECOS system and also covers TExES pre-testing. The student will be assessed the fee the semester following formal entrance into the Educator Preparation Program.
