MINISTRY
Worldchanger Scholarship
Tuition Free Requirements *Pastor/Church must support ABU at $500 per month *Does NOT cover fees or room & board *Must live in dorm *Maintain full-time status
Minnetonka Summer Staff Scholarship
$1,500 per year Requirements *Must work/serve at *Minnetonka each summer *Complete Proof of Service Form every fall *Can be stacked with one of the following based on GPA: President, *Departmental, Patriot Honor or Patriot and a maximum of 4 referrals if no other scholarship is awarded *Maintain GPA of 2.5 each semester
Pastoral/Missionary Dependent Scholarship
$2,000 per year Requirements *Must be a dependent of a Pastor/Missionary *Major in Ministry *Can be stacked with one of the following based on GPA: President, Departmental, Patriot Honor or Patriot and a maximum of 4 referrals if no other scholarship is awarded *Maintain GPA of 2.5 each semester
ACADEMIC
President's Scholarship
$8,500 per year Requirements *Incoming minimum GPA 4.0 or SAT/ACT 1280/27 *Can ONLY be stacked with the Referral Scholarships *Maximum of 3 referrals *Maintain GPA of 3.75 each semester *Maintain full-time status - Maximum total per year $14,500
Department Scholarship
$5,000 per year Requirements *Incoming minimum GPA 3.0 or SAT/ACT 1040/20 *Can be stacked with the Patriot Honor and a maximum of 4 referrals *Maintain GPA of 3.0 each semester *Maintain full-time status - Maximum total per year if stacked with Patriot Honor and 4 referrals: $14,500
Patriot Honor Scholarship
$1,500 per year Requirements *Incoming minimum GPA 2.85 or SAT/ACT 970/18 *Can be stacked with Departmental award if the GPA is 3.0 otherwise can only be stacked with referral scholarship *Maximum of 4 referrals *Maintain GPA of 2.85 each semester *Maintain full-time status - Max per year if GPA is 3.0 $14,500 - Max per year if GPA is 2.85-2.99 $9,500
Patriot Scholarship
$1,000 per year Requirements *Incoming minimum GPA 2.80 or SAT/ACT 950/17 *Can be stacked only with a maximum of 4 referral scholarships *Maintain GPA 2.50-2.99 each semester *Maintain full-time status - Max per year $9,000
Referral Scholarship
$2,000 per year Requirements *Current students only *Must be included on admissions application *Limited based on the requirements of other scholarships *Limited to 5 referrals per academic year IF NOT combined with any other ABU scholarships *Maintain full-time status *Maintain GPA of 2.5 each semester *Both students become ineligible if either student withdrawals from ABU *Both students must return to apply for subsequent semesters
Graduate Scholarship
$1,000 per year This scholarship can be awarded to graduates of Arlington Baptist University (ABU) who wish to pursue either a second degree or a higher degree at ABU. This scholarship awards $500 per semester to ABU graduates who completed their previous degree with at least a 3.00 cumulative GPA and who have been admitted to one of ABU’s master’s programs or who return for an additional ABU undergraduate degree. The scholarship recipient must be enrolled full-time as defined by the program (undergraduate degree – 12 or more hours; master’s degree – 9 or more hours). To receive this award, the students must remain full-time during the term. (This is not stackable)
The Rising Star Scholarship
$5,000 per year This scholarship can be awarded to current Arlington Baptist University (ABU) students that did NOT qualify for the new or new transfer scholarships their first term at ABU, but who have excelled academically while attending ABU. This scholarship awards $2500 per semester to qualifying ABU students who have and who maintain at least a 3.00 cumulative grade point average and who have and who maintain full-time status. Please contact the ABU Financial Aid Director for instructions on how to apply for this scholarship.
