What brought you to ABU? /How did you hear about ABU?
There are several people in my church who attended ABU back when it was ABC. They recommended it to my mom, and she told me about it. However, it was really God who brought me to ABU. I had said to someone that I would never be going back to college unless God told me very specifically where I was going and for what purpose. Within a week of saying that, God told me I needed to go to ABU to study children’s ministry.
What has God taught you while you have been at ABU?
So far, I have learned lots about the Bible and how amazing my God is! Every day, the professors and other students show God’s love in a way that makes me want to grow in my faith. I have also learned that God does use everything for good. Before I came to ABU, I was in a rough place emotionally. I thought that it would be impossible for God to use me for His glory because of my past. But God has shown me that my past has brought me to where I am today, and it was all part of His amazing and wonderful plan for my life.
What are your plans after you graduate from ABU?
I hope to become a Children’s Minister at a church someday. I’m not sure where that will be yet, but I know God will open the right doors for me to do exactly what He wants me to do. I also hope to eventually become a wife and a mother someday.
