Missions Trip to Louisiana

“YOU HAVE BEEN A REFUGE FOR THE POOR, A REFUGE FOR THE NEEDY…” Isaiah 25:4

A team of students and faculty from Arlington Baptist College will be leaving for the Baton Rouge, LA area on Thursday, September 8 to work with Operation Blessing in the flood relief. We will be spending 2 days working to help in any way we are needed. ABC students, there is still time to sign up for this trip. We will be leaving on Thursday the 8th at 1:00 and will return on Sunday, the 11th. This trip will meet the requirements for your missions trip that is required for all degrees at Arlington Baptist and it will also count as one of your community service requirements for the fall semester.

The cost of the trip is $25. That will cover everything except for food on traveling days (Thursday & Sunday). Meals will be covered on Friday & Saturday. We will be staying at a local church. You will need to bring work clothes (clothes you don't mind getting ruined), work shoes, towels, toiletries, your Bible, snacks, etc.

A mandatory meeting of everyone going on this trip will be Wednesday, Sept. 7 at 10:30 am immediately after chapel. You are required to be at this meeting if you plan on going.

Because of the quickness of putting this trip together, some students may not have additional spending money. If you would be interested in giving funds towards this trip, please contact either Ted Marvin at tmarvin@arlingtonbaptistcollege.edu or Kim Marvin atkmarvin@arlingtonbaptistcollege.edu.

Pray for the team as we go and not only represent Arlington Baptist College, but as we are the hands and feet of Jesus Christ!!
